The Grounding Rod connects your sheet or mat straight to the ground outside, with no wall outlet involved. Push the stainless steel rod into the soil, run the cord inside, and plug it into your sheet or mat.
Who it’s for
- Anyone who wants a more direct connection. Plugging into an outlet routes your connection through your home’s wiring and its earth system. The rod skips the wiring and connects you to the ground itself.
- Anyone outside AU, US, UK and EU plug regions. Our sheets and mats come with these four plug types. If your country uses a different socket, the rod works the same anywhere in the world.
- Homes with older or unreliable wiring, or anyone who’d rather not use a socket at all.
How to use
- Choose a spot in moist, natural soil, such as a garden bed or lawn, close to a window or door.
- Push the rod into the ground until only the handle is showing. Watering the soil around it helps keep the connection consistent.
- Run the cord indoors and plug it into your sheet or mat.
